Due to the success of our pilot project, the Sauchie Green Map, funding was secured from Clackmannanshire Community Regeneration Partnership to create more thematic and geographic Green Maps. An important theme among our Green Maps is "Community Safety". They are directed at agencies who come together to create a "joined-up" approach to service delivery. The “Community Safety” Green Maps are a great way of giving people a voice in their community planning, and to make sure that the services and resources available are used to meet the needs of these communities. The maps approach this goal in a very targeted manner and have been welcomed to have an important role in the improvement of the local environment. Some of our other themed Green Maps have included disabled access and youth maps. Our mapping projects have encouraged communities to come together to map the things that make life worthwhile.
