Where?

Fife Employment Access Trust (FEAT) was set up in 1994 by a small group of people concerned about the lack of employment opportunities for people in Fife who had experience of mental health problems.  Some of this group had personal experience of mental ill health - and were all too aware about the problems of finding a job and the stigma that prevailed.  Today, we have amassed 26 years of experience of directly supporting people with mental health problems to find and sustain work.

FEAT's vision is to enable and support individuals to reach their full positive mental wellbeing in a culture where there is no stigma.

Employing an inclusive, non-judgemental approach to prepare, support and empower people to flourish by managing their mental health for life - whatever life does, by:

  • Providing service users with strategies and tools to improve their resilience and employability
  • Creating safe, nurturing, supportive and compassionate environments to encourage personal growth
  • Developing strategic partnerships with complementary and diverse organisations that share our vision
  • Working with others to eliminate the stigma on mental health in the workplace and communities
  • Supporting the welfare and continuous professional development of staff and volunteers so they may continue to provide exceptional services

For more information about what we do, come along to one of our information sessions held monthly.

Not sure which programme is right for you? Don't worry, just get in touch and we'll arrange to meet up and discuss your needs in detail and come up with a plan of action.

Encouraging more sustainable lifestyles, mapping the things that make life worthwhile & highlighting the potential for a greener future for everyone.
