All across Scotland communities are working away on Local Place Plans.
These plans are developed through collaboration and people coming together to identify how land and building assets in their local area can be utilised better, to support community led regeneration.
Local Place Plans need to be communicated in map form. Hannah Clinch has been facilitating the development of the a Local Place Plan for Dunoon and Kirn on behalf of Dunoon Community Development Trust. Using the Green Map Platform and website builder tools, Hannah has worked with the platform team to create a draft Local Place Plan and project website.
In this session, Hannah will talk about the approach to Local Place Planning taken in her community, and how the Green Map Platform tools are being used to support this process.
RSVP at bit.ly/GMooh25 - see more about Local Place Plans and Green Map in this 2024 post from the Coalfields Regeneration Trust. Even if you are not in Scotland, this session and Local Place Planning concepts offer valuable insights for diverse communities.
