Ecole qui participe aux classes d'eau et a participé au projet Mon école hydro-citoyenne. les élèves ont décidé de favoriser le stockage d'eau de pluie, pour arroser le potager et nettoyage de leurs classes. Ecole qui participe aux classes d'eau et a participé au projet Mon école hydro citoyenne. Les élèves ont mis en place deux projets en faveur de l'eau #agirpourleau. 1. Préserver l'eau de la pollution en installant des poubelles de tris et en sensibilisant la communauté scolaire. Favoriser le stockage d'eau dans les végétaux (évapotranspiration) et l'infiltration de l'eau dans le sol, en demandant au PO de prendre soin d'un petit bout de jardin et en installant des bacs de culture dans leur cours bétonnée (création d'ilots de fraicheur).

A walk along the banks of the River Kelvin that winds through Glasgow (9.8km, from the city all the way to Milngavie!) is a beautiful experience at any time of the year. Today, it's taken for granted that the Kelvin is thriving & healthy, a Glasgow City link to nature. Yet, it is only in recent years that the river's clean-up has supported its being such a rich natural habitat & thread of calm, right in the middle of the city.

Charity shop whose proceeds benefit the Oxfam organisation, offering a wide variety of secondhand books. From fiction to non-fiction to vintage books, Oxfam bookshops are famous for their amazing finds!

Dear Green (a reference to Glasgow, which is often referred to as the 'Dear Green Place' ['glas' means 'green' / 'grey-green' in Scottish Gaelic]) is a local coffee roasters who roast specialty coffee with passion, ethics, & good vibes at the centre of all they do.

The Sustainable Development Goals in aciton on Governros Island; sustainable cities, eco justice organizations, good health and well being, life on land, climate action, life below water. 

This urban farm grows many fruits and vegetables. The diverse plant life is good for birds, bees, and butterflies. The farm contributes to the school's composting efforts. Students who work on the farm engage in hands-on work, encouraging them to engage in sustainable practices. The waterfront by Craig Road North provides a great view of the Manhattan skyline. The harbor seals run by the New York Harbor School program are helping clean up the harbor, removing marine. debris and test water qaulity. See more here - https://harborseals.org/

TIMA K, young leader from Syria met students and premiered the film in the library at Climate Action Week NY.

The Flint water crisis is so bad, the "Michigan Civil Rights Commission, a state-established body, concluded that the poor governmental response to the Flint crisis was a 'result of systemic racism'," writes NRDC. This is an environmental justice issue.  Settlement was reached in 2020 - but issues persist.

Når man tager Cityringen til Nørrebros Runddel, kommer man direkte ind i Assistens Kirkegården. Det er en perfekt mulighed til at tage en lille spadseretur gennem den smukke kirkegård, inden man fortsætter videre i den travle hverdag.
