SDG 13 - Climate Action

Dùthchas is a small group of individuals from the PA23 community who are seeking to obtain land for a growing space that also includes mixed woodland. They are looking to obtain land which will be used to:

CAT is an educational charity dedicated to researching and communicating positive solutions for environmental change. We speak to government and campaigners about policies that would help create a zero carbon Britain; we train students in all aspects of sustainability; we help schoolchildren to understand the importance of action on climate change; and we give advice to householders on what they can do in their own homes.

To protect, restore and enhance natural assets making best use of nature based solutions.

Apply the Place Principle and create connected and compact neighbourhoods where people can meet the majority of their daily needs within a reasonable distance of their home, preferably by walking, wheeling or cycling or using sustainable transport options.

Kirkcaldy Bus Station is located between Hunter Place and Hill Street, adjacent to the Postings Shopping Centre, in the town centre. There are 14 Stances. Stances 1 to 6 are adjacent to the shopping centre with Stances 7 to 14 on the other side of the concourse. The main building lies between Stances 6 and 7.

Kirkcaldy railway station is a railway station in the town of Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland. The station is managed by ScotRail and is on the Fife Circle Line and principal East Coast Main Line.

The garden is in two sections within the bounds of Beveridge Park. The wildlife garden is accessible at all times. The food garden is within an old walled garden which accessed via the wildlife garden. It is only open at set times or by prior arrangement.

Love Oor Lang Toun is an independent community organisation in Kirkcaldy, Fife.​

Ravenscraig Walled Garden is already a thriving community asset, with individual allotments and plots for community groups managed by Kirkcaldy Community Gardens & Allotments, and our established community orchard. The garden is Common Good Land and the site was brought back into use in 2012.

Lang Toun Cycles is a community bike shop in the heart of Kirkcaldy. We offer cycle servicing and repairs, sales of refurbished bikes, new ebikes and cycling accessories, a bike and electric-bike loan scheme, bike maintenance training and volunteering opportunities.

Gallatown Bike Hub is a Social Enterprise and a Company Limited by Guarantee. We exist to promote all things bicycle in the Gallatown, Kirkcaldy and beyond since 2014.
