Charity shop whose proceeds benefit the Oxfam organisation, offering a wide variety of secondhand books. From fiction to non-fiction to vintage books, Oxfam bookshops are famous for their amazing finds!

A social enterprise, registered charity, Fair Trade retailer, & educator - "trading fairly in Renfrewshire since 2002." The Rainbow Turtle's Paisley shop (staffed almost exclusively by a dedicated team of volunteers) offers a wide variety of fairly-traded food & drinks, along with an extensive range of ecological household products. Many of these are available to be refilled, thereby reducing waste packaging. They also stock a great range of fairly traded gifts & crafts from around the world, including cards, stationery, jewellery, & fashion accessories, clothing for adults & children, cookware, kitchenware, toys - &, last but not least, pocket-money items for children.

Platform is the arts centre at the heart of Glasgow's East End, at The Bridge in Easterhouse, offering a year-round programme of theatre, gigs, exhibitions, workshops, & participation.

Scottish Canals is the official body that (in their own words) "look[s] after the Scottish canals, conserving them as part of our heritage, & transforming them to play a vital role in Scotland today." The offices are located on the banks of the Glasgow Canal that stretches across Glasgow City, this canal, itself, being a section of the Forth & Clyde Canal that crosses central Scotland.

Founded in 1451, University of Glasgow is the fourth-oldest in the UK & the second-oldest in Scotland, with more (architecturally) 'listed' buildings than any other university in the UK. Originally located in the High Street in Glasgow City Centre, UofG was relocated in 1870 to its current location in Glasgow's West End. At that time, the West End consisted of countryside, farms, & country-houses of Glasgow's most wealthy citizens, & adding UofG to the area was a significant part of the city's expansion, by adding the academic elite to the location's social landscape which expanded the horizon for those who might have otherwise remained in City Centre.

Located on Sauchiehall Street in the heart of Glasgow City Centre in the Garnethill neighbourhood, CCA: Centre for Contemporary Arts is Glasgow’s hub for the arts, arts events, cultural organisations, & artists.

Good health and well being is being promoted by the positivity of nature being around when you walk up the hill and get to the top, where you can look out into the harbor.

This urban farm grows many fruits and vegetables. The diverse plant life is good for birds, bees, and butterflies. The farm contributes to the school's composting efforts. Students who work on the farm engage in hands-on work, encouraging them to engage in sustainable practices. TIMA K, young leader from Syria met students and premiered the film in the library at Climate Action Week NY.

This is a peaceful and calming place with scenic views of the harbor, surrounded by lots of plants, trees, and grass; making you feel zen and at peace. This grove is a diverse place with many different types of plants, trees, insects, flowers and birds. There are also four hammocks so you are able to lay down peacefully, either in the sun or the shade of the trees. With all of the fresh oxygen being created by the plants reducing the harmful gasses that are in the environment.  When you are at the hammock grove, there are no trash cans or nearby or vestibules selling any food close. This was done, to reduce the amount of rats/insects that would come to eat the trash. But people still eat there regardless, and the trash is just left on the ground causing two things, one the rats and insects will find it and start returning to the area and 2 the trash can decompose into the ground which adds greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere.

CAT is an educational charity dedicated to researching and communicating positive solutions for environmental change. We speak to government and campaigners about policies that would help create a zero carbon Britain; we train students in all aspects of sustainability; we help schoolchildren to understand the importance of action on climate change; and we give advice to householders on what they can do in their own homes.

Kirkcaldy Bus Station is located between Hunter Place and Hill Street, adjacent to the Postings Shopping Centre, in the town centre. There are 14 Stances. Stances 1 to 6 are adjacent to the shopping centre with Stances 7 to 14 on the other side of the concourse. The main building lies between Stances 6 and 7.

Kirkcaldy railway station is a railway station in the town of Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland. The station is managed by ScotRail and is on the Fife Circle Line and principal East Coast Main Line.

The garden is in two sections within the bounds of Beveridge Park. The wildlife garden is accessible at all times. The food garden is within an old walled garden which accessed via the wildlife garden. It is only open at set times or by prior arrangement.
