Climate Paradigm Collaborative is an Interdisciplinary organization specializing in embedding regenerative principles into modern organizations. CPC engages in this work through small group facilitation, climate coaching, game design, event planning, and modernizing the way organizations approach social & environmental impact. 

To catalyze and mobilize research, partnerships, and knowledge that generate climate action. The Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions aims to catalyze and mobilize research, partnerships, and knowledge that advance mitigation and adaptation at the intersection of: 1. Justice, Wellbeing, and Biodiversity 2. Policy, Practice, and Technology 3. Communities and Place.

The RUSH Initiative is a scalable map for people to explore the risks and fixes to long term health in their neighbourhood.  From climate readiness to a sense of belonging, our goal is rapid resilience in record time.

The UVic Coastal Climate Solutions Leaders (CCSL) program offers an immersive learning experience for graduate students seeking to advance climate solutions. Bridging across the sciences, engineering, social sciences, business, and law, this program delivers enriched interdisciplinary and inter-sectoral training to prepare the next generation of leaders with the knowledge, experience, and skills needed to rise to the challenge of climate change. We are always looking to partner with Vicotira organizations to deliver novel, community-engaged training opportunitites.

The UVic Map Shop is a community-campus initiative dedicated to collaborative place-based learning and mapping. We partner with community organizations to conduct geographic research and mapping.

The Sustainable Development Goals in aciton on Governros Island; sustainable cities, eco justice organizations, good health and well being, life on land, climate action, life below water. 

Governor's Island has many benefits, especially regarding nature and mental health.  Governor's Island is calm and beautiful because it's isolated from Manhattan, with abundant ecosystem services in action and conservation at work. Many things are happening on this island, such as attempts at reaching the Sustainable Development Goals. The New York Climate Exchange ( https://nyclimateexchange.org/ ) is working on bringing stakeholders together to develop practical solutions to emerging issues of our time. The New York Harbor School ( https://www.newyorkharborschool.org/ )and Earth Matter ( https://earthmatter.org/) are two top stakeholders engaged in substantial, hands-on, data-driven, social equity-driven approaches to tackling these issues. Earth Matter and one of the Career Technical Programs at New York Harbor School, Marine Affairs ( https://harborpolicy.org/ ), work tirelessly on managing and educating on the island's Zero Waste Mission.

The UVic Map Shop is a community-campus initiative dedicated to collaborative place-based learning and mapping. Operated by the Department of Geography, the Map Shop's mission is to facilitate processes for community engagement, student learning, globally-relevant research, and sustainable community planning through participatory community mapping. This is achieved through engaging students, community members, Indigenous partners, and other participants both locally and globally in classroom-based and field-based courses, workshops, map-making, internship opportunities, scholarly research, publications, summits, and conference participation.

CIFAL Victoria delivers training activities and research that build on UVic's commitments to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP). It connects the region with the global community and supports international knowledge-sharing and partnerships, with a focus on four key themes:

 Our community mapping students gathered at World Environment Day in June 2022 to display maps and ask for ideas and stories about connectivity in the Capital Region. We discussed pollinator corridors, food security, ecological connectivity and ways in which to improve these within the region. Residents contributed stories and sites that we recorded on maps.

DYRK Nørrebro is the first public rooftop garden in Copenhagen. The garden is situated on top of Blågård school and has been up and running since April 2011. The environment is the main focus of the rooftop garden as it provides a new innovative way of teaching citizens about the benefits of a green lifestyle and organic agricultural practices.

Bygningen BLOX har delt vandene i byen - men nu er den her, og forsøger at være ramme om en ny måde at bygge og bruge by på. Bygningen er åben og har offentlig adgang i de underste etager, hvor Dansk Arkitektur Center holder til. I midten er erhvervs- og byggeklyngen BLOXHUB, der er et udviklingsorienteret samarbejde på tværs af offentlige og private aktører om at skabe en bæredygtig byudvikling nationalt og internationalt, mens de øverste etager er lejeboliger. På den måde rummer bygningen også tre forskellige funktioner i samme fysiske struktur  - og den er så gennemsigtig, at boligerne kan kigge ind til erhvervsklyngen, der kan interagere med det offentlige rum i stueetagen. Forpladsen bruges ofte til større fællearrangementer, fx spisning, sport, udstillinger osv.

I det daglige bruges Pavillonen som åbent kontor og galleri. Vi er en broget forsamling af selvstændige indenfor især kunst, drama og kommunikation…og fælles for os er, at vi alle er iværksættere, som har ønsket at skabe et grønt og rummeligt mødested.
