reCycle is a community cycling scheme based in Argyll offering free refurbished bikes, affordable bike repair and servicing, eBike maintenance, and cycle training workshops, helping people of all ages and abilities get confident on two wheels.

ReMake Argyll is an intergenerational skills sharing project, reducing waste and building connection!

Our goal is  to work with local communities in Argyll & Bute, to provide activities in relation to environmental awareness, recycling and reuse. Our Beaches and Marine Litter Project (BMLP), which has been commended by ministers in the Scottish Parliament, aims to encourage clean beaches and increase the access to clean beaches.

Mull and Iona Community Trust is a dedicated and passionate locally based organisation focused on improving the quality of life for the residents of Mull and Iona. With a long track record of delivering successful community development projects; addressing problems of geographic isolation and economic and social exclusion in remote and rural communities. Addressing a gap in the town - the Connecting Communities Collective opened up Re_Store on George Street, in the heart of Oban in Spring 2024.  We are proud that Re_Store is "more than a charity shop".

  LA RÉSERVE DES ARTS is a non-profit organization that promotes and supports the development of a circular and solidarity-based economy within the cultural, creative, and craft sectors.We support professionals in the cultural sector in adopting circular economy practices and reusing materials.

Bygones is noted for its pine and architectural salvage the shop also holds lots of pub memorabilia, as well as old farm implements and machinery. Some of, the pine furniture is, entirely original, while other pieces are reconstructed using old wood.
