They raise broilers and turkeys seasonally on 5 acres of land in Port
Townsend, WA. Their slower-growing, pasture-raised poultry develop rich
flavors and have darker meat than the standard commercial breeds. Their birds are raised outdoors, on pasture all the days of their lives. This
reduces stress and disease, ensuring a happy life and a better product
for their customers. The chickens enjoy a certified organic feed from In-Season
Farm in B.C. and plenty of forage from pasture, resulting in meat that
is not only tastier but packed with essential vitamins and nutrients.
Compared to conventional poultry, ours have better fat quality and
increased levels of omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins A and E, and other
crucial nutrients that contribute to a healthier diet.
