Farmers or Local Market

This is a terrific resource for food rescue - 20,000 meals a week from produce & ingredients were procured on their way to the compost bin. The quality & richness of the dishes served here is very high! Sustainable diet shift at all levels. 

"A farmers market meets the internet for convenient year-round shopping at the Cow-op. We are a non-profit farmer and food processor co-operative with an online marketplace of locally grown and harvested food, featuring a variety of produce, meats, eggs, fruit, baking and more all grown or produced throughout the Cowichan Region. This is a convenient system for food producers and customers alike, as the farmers save time and buyers are able to shop from their computer year-round while directly supporting local family farms and businesses."

A social enterprise, Locavore is a local, organic grocery store & veg-box delivery service. Food supplied is sourced from Locavore's own land, as well as from other local growers & ethical producers. In-store there is a refill point, ethical groceries, & also a café - all with the aim & practice of working together to build better local-food systems!

Givanilson Frutas is a local food trade, with a good variety of fruits and vegetables, as well as spices, grains, dried herbs and others natural products. The place is managed by a local family, they accept payment by credit card and also provide service via WhatsApp (phone number on the first picture).

Feira Central, it's one of the biggest fairs of Campina Grande. From there you can get to many other places in the city, and find a big variety of products and services, from organic fruits and vegetables to hadcrafts and pottery, or even get a haircut.

The "Arca Catedral" is a place where several varieties of fruit are sold. In the space, you will also find several vendors selling other types of natural foods.
