Refill Shop

A Repair Café on the first Saturday of the month where you can bring items to be fixed and repaired, and perhaps even learn how to do future repairs yourself.  Repairs are free but donations welcomed.  Refreshments available.  Full information on what is happening each month can be found on the Duns Repair Café facebook page or on www.greenerduns.org.uk. 

Home Basics has been supporting and encouraging reuse for over 20 years. We have outlets in Walkerburn and Hawick.

Borders Wheels is a charity based in the Scottish Borders, We provide Community Transport across the Borders and have four locality bases: Berwickshire, Galashiels, Teviot and Tweed.  Borders Wheels is the unification of 4 Community Transport organisations in the Borders, Teviot, Gala and Tweed came together first and we brought in Berwickshire Wheels in April 2024.

Fair Trade Coffee House & Kitchen with Re-fill station and Fair Trade Shop

The Larder is now in its “forever home” at the Community Annexe in the grounds of the primary school where we have fridges and freezers to stock perishable items that we collect from the following supermarkets- Co-op, Morrisons, Sainsburys, Asda, Lidl and Marks and Spencers. Please come and help us reduce food waste that would otherwise go to landfill. You can have up to 10 items, as many items from the “rumble box”as you want and we even have pet food. All are welcome.

A local voluntary group raising awareness of climate change, and taking action in the  Berwick area to improve the environment. Monthly Repair Cafe - last Saturday every month.  Lots of opportunities to volunteer.

Weigh Greener CIC is a Zero Waste Refill Shop in Lauder in the Scottish Borders.

The shop at the Hirsel next to the cafe stocks a good range of locally produced veg, fruit and meat. it also has a wide range of products available as refills, both food items and cleaning materials/ cosmetics
