Our vision places the Mallaig Community Hub at the heart of the community; providing a much-needed space that both fosters community spirit and reflects and responds to the needs of the people of Mallaig, providing long-lasting social and environmental benefits to the community as a whole.

Eco friendly floor cleaner and personal care products. We can refill at home and save money, plastic and the environment. 

The LEDGE is a world-class climbing centre, café, gym and social enterprise

Velocity Café & Bicycle Workshop is a social enterprise based in Inverness. Velocity combines three worlds; a vegetarian café, bicycle workshop and range of projects to promote health, wellbeing and sustainability.

Strathspey Works – Grantown Remakery provides Employment Skills Development, volunteering opportunities and support for Young People who may be having difficulty in Transition from School to Further Education and Employment, Adults with a Disability or with Mental Ill-Health, and Adults with poor ‘Wellbeing’ and lack of ‘Work Readiness’, supporting all in their journey to recovery and towards fulfilment of their personal goals.

ABOUT

Restart Orkney sells good quality second hand furniture, household items and white goods at affordable prices, the profits from which go back into helping the local community. They also host upcycling workshops to encourage people to embrace a circular economy personally. Restart Orkney also has added community benefits by providing sustainable supported employment, training and volunteering opportunities for those with a barrier to gaining employment.

Bressay Development Ltd run the Good as New shop where they sell 2nd hand items, thus contributing towards a circular economy and a reduction of waste.

Unst Partnership operates the UP shop which promotes a circular economy by receiving donations of household goods and furnitures and sells them on. Unst Partnership is currently developing a project to create a larger recycling and community hub on the Island.

Run by the Community Development Company of Nesting, the Nesting Scrap-store receives donations of households goods and furniture from the local community and sells them on, contributing towards a circular economy and waste reduction.
