Rain Garden

TIKEL is a wet land formerly used for transportation in canoes, salmon to travel and inhabited by other animals and plants. It was drained for farming and has recently been given back to the First Nations and restored back to holding water.

There’s lots of native trees, plants and grasses but also blackberry bushes which are invasive. There’s also lots of birds that chirp and fly around.

There is lots of vegetation in trees, bushes and grass surrounding. There are a wide variety of bugs and birds present.

It’s a creek near the road near our school.

There are plants, trees, birds and some insects.

There are some trees and a lot of grass around. There’s also a lot of little flies.

It is on the road side near farming grounds and a high school. There aren’t many residential properties around.

There are a lot of trees, brambles, insects, and birds in the area surrounding the rain garden. Both native and invasive species live around the rain garden as well.

There are both native and invasive species involved. Sword ferns and English ivy.

This is pollinator garden on the boulevard of Regina Ave with native plants and a Garry oak tree.

Camas, shooting stars, sticky gum weed, pacific sage, and Romer's fescue are a few of the native plants
