The Roman Catholic Church of the Sacred Heart, South Plainfield, NJ was established in 1905. We are a diverse community striving to foster spiritual growth and Catholic identity through liturgy, sacraments, service, education and our shared faith in God. The New Jersey Buddhist Culture Center (NJBCC) was a buddhist temple founded in October 1995 through the delegation of Venerable Master HsingYun. His vision is " Let the Buddha's light shine on the three thousand realms; let the water of the Dharma flow through five continents." The objective of this center is to provide a source for people in the community to get to know Buddha's teachings as well as to practice Buddhism in daily life.

The system produces enough electricity to save 7,000 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions over its lifetime, according to Glopak. The project is expected to bring USD 180,000 (EUR 133,800) in electricity savings a year.

Hall’s Warehouse Corporation in South Plainfield, New Jersey operates more than 1,700,000 square feet of temperature-controlled food storage. With this installation, the company boasts 3.2 MW (dc) of solar energy, making it one of New Jersey’s largest private commercial rooftop solar systems and one of the United States’ largest net-metered systems.

The Nature Center at Highland Woods is located at 115 Sylvania Place off South Clinton Avenue in South Plainfield.

1400 New Market Avenue, founded c. 1690. The cemetery is a link in the chain that forms the Crossroads of the American Revolution and to the families that founded historic Piscataway Township in 1666. Burials include veterans who fought in nearly every war from the American Revolution to the present.

Holy Redeemer Cemetery & Mausoleum is owned and operated by The Roman Catholic Church of the Sacred Heart, South Plainfield, New Jersey of the Diocese of Metuchen. We have been faithfully serving the burial needs of the Roman Catholic community, family and friends with reverence and compassion since 1919. The current Pastor of Sacred Heart Parish delegates the responsibility for administration and supervision of the cemetery and mausoleum.

Our pastors are Rob and Lisa Nieves. They have been married for 23 years, and have 5 beautiful children together.
