Community Guidebook of Food Security Online Map

Welcome to our online resource map! Here, you can find details on food-security related initiatives in the Greater Victoria area. We have information on the topics of Free Meals, Food Banks/Groceries, Gardening Initiatives, Community Events, and more.

This guide was initially created in Spring 2025 by a group of UVic Environmental Studies students in light of decreasing affordability, US tariffs, and the recent closure and exasperation of resources. We are not affiliated with these resources and all information is subject to change. Feel free to suggest resources and details as they come up.

May this project provide the resources to those who need it, and mobilize those who are able to support food security and community building in Greater Victoria.
