Echoes to Action is a new project at ACT, funded by CLLD (Argyll and Bute Community Led Local Development), to develop an interactive map of climate change events and their impacts as reported by individuals across Argyll and Bute. This can help us to use personal, lived experience to inform what climate change means for people in Argyll and Bute and to complement previous and ongoing work such as our local climate trends information, community council emergency plans and records, and the recently commissioned Regional Risk and Opportunity Assessment. Ultimately what we seek to gain from this is to help to ensure that individuals and communities’ experiences and concerns are taken into account when prioritising resources for climate action. It would be great to hear your experiences of climate change whether as an individual or in the course of your work and add that to the Green Map that we are developing.
