Prevent Plastic Polluting Our Planet
Plastic Free Helensburgh’s vision is for a local community that is aware of environmental issues and that is actively working to reduce single-use plastics and lead more environmentally friendly lives.
We work in partnership with local individuals, groups, businesses and the council to educate, encourage, support and empower the local community to:
1. eliminate 3 items of single-use plastic
2. Refuse, Reduce, Refill, Repair, Repurpose, Replace then Recycle
3. bring about environmental change
Plastic Free Helensburgh is an inclusive, respectful organisation. We will not be tolerant of any discrimination or disrespectful behaviour and we reserve the right to remove membership from any individual widely perceived to be acting in such a manner.
