An iron tower 12.5 metres high.

I have been able to find very little information relating to this lighthouse. It was built as part of the Fort of Sao Francisco de Olinda with a Chance Brothers of Smethwick near Birmingham 4th order optic fitted. It was superceded in 1941 by a new light and nothing of the old lighthouse now remains.
The original lighthouse was a 12.5 m (41 ft) wrought iron tower built in the fortress of São Francisco de Olinda. Located on a steep bluff north of the commercial center of Olinda, about 7 km (4.5 mi) north of Recife. Site open; tower open 2-5 pm on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
