DTA Scotland is an independent, member-led organisation which aims to promote, support and represent development trusts in Scotland. Established in 2003, DTA Scotland now has over 300 development trust members – community-led organisations using a combination of enterprise and creativity to improve the quality of life for local people in urban, rural and island communities across Scotland.

DTAS is the national membership organisation for development trusts in Scotland. Our aims are to promote, support and represent development trusts. DTAS has over 265 members operating in urban, rural and island communities throughout the country. In addition to our core membership function, DTAS operates 2 discreet services – our Community Ownership Support Service (COSS) and Community Shares Scotland.
