Permaculture is a design system that empowers people to find positive solutions to meet all their needs in a socially and ecologically sustainable way. Permaculture Scotland is part of the Permaculture Association Britain, and is guided by the Permaculture Scotland Working Group. Our goal is to grow the network in Scotland to be self-sustaining and contribute to national health, wealth and happiness, whilst sharing what we have and what we seek with the worldwide permaculture community. We hold an annual gathering (usually in June) and have a demonstration network of practical permaculture sites via the ScotLAND initiative.
