We are a small local group that manages a nature reserve. The reserve is held in Trust by the Community Council and Moffat Wildlife Club for the community. Our core objectives are to protect the wildlife that makes the reserve its home, and to educate the community about the importance of conserving wild spaces. We run Young Rangers sessions to encourage engagement with nature for local children, and summer activities for all ages. In the hope of helping people who are unable to visit the reserve in person we are in the process of installing a series of trail cameras around the site. We will then be able to share photos and video footage of the birds and mammals that inhabit the reserve.
