Edible Botanics - at Dundee Botanic Gardens

Garden
Where?

Edible Botanics is a project that looks to bring people closer to edible nature by growing food, as well as herbs that are used in medicine, in the most natural way. Our aim is to show that there is no need for a big growing space to bring fresh food to your table. We celebrate eating seasonally and sharing knowledge of heritage seeds, while maintaining a minimal carbon footprint.

The garden is maintained in an organic way, using no pesticides, with the purpose of being educational as well as fun. We collaborate in partnership with Seeds Organic as well as Growing Dundee. Contact us by enquiring in the Visitor Centre if you would like to know more or be a volunteer.
