Kirn gardens is a welcome green space leading down to beautiful shingle beach. Historically the gardens contained a public toilet, and the beach hosted a local cafe (Reggies) that attracted visitors to the area for swimming and bathing.
In recent years Eco Kirn have worked with Argyll and Bute Council to improve play facilities, planting and signage around the gardens, positively impacting on the quality of environment. However, Eco Kirn have struggled in recent years to sustain this approach due to a lack of funding.
