This project: greening active travel routes, grassland, meadow and pollinator habitat, coastal habitat restoration

Dundee City Council and Angus Council are improving National Cycle Network Route 1 between Broughty Ferry Castle and Monifieth to provide a direct and continuous coastal active travel link for people of all ages and abilities. Coastal adaptation was considered throughout the design, helping to protect coastal dunes, while extensive wildflower planting along the route supports biodiversity.
