This project: natural flood management, peatland, pond or wetland restoration, tree planting

The Allan Water Improvement Project is a catchment-based nature restoration project along the Allan River Catchment, working with landowners and land managers to deliver natural flood management benefits, improve water quality and support wider ecosystem benefits. The project includes riparian tree planting, leaky dams, wetland creation and peatland restoration at sites across the catchment, helping to slow water flow, restore habitats and improve resilience to climate impacts.
