The Edible Garden is a predominantly food growing space which provides volunteer activities and events to enhance wellbeing.
It feeds the local community fresh vegetables and fruit for free with zero food miles!
Sessions include food growing and landscape construction for volunteers, plus parents and pre-schooler gardening, regular sessions for local primary schools, Helensburgh Autism group and community meals.
Volunteers learn new skills and enhance their mental and physical wellbeing through shared endeavor, connecting with others, physical activity and being outdoors. The garden brings the community together.
