Where?

This garden takes its name from the Community of Pleasant Village, the area from 114th to 120th Streets on Pleasant Avenue and west to First Avenue. The neighborhood in turn takes its name from Pleasant Avenue, aptly dubbed for its idyllic location on the coast, a century before construction of the East Side highway. It looks to revamp its current compost program to increase soil in the garden, reduce organic waste from going into landfill and eliminate the use of store bought fertilizer. Our open hours are Tuesday 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m Saturday 9:00 - 3:00 Whenever the gate is open
