Part of Unity Enterprise organisation, Spoon Cafés are social-enterprise-run sit-in / take-away cafés offering external catering services & space hire for public & private events.
Spoon Cafés host a 'Pay it Forward' scheme. This means that when you purchase at Spoon, you're helping Spoon & Unity Enterprise to provide food, support, & a warm welcome to those who need it, including individuals or families affected by homelessness &/or poverty.
You also contribute to their helping to provide work-experience & training in a supported, supportive environment to people who may be vulnerable or otherwise face exclusion or barriers to employment.
Unity Enterprise services are for:
Carers
Adults with learning disabilities
Anyone suffering social disadvantages
So, it's much more than 'just' a cuppa & a scone!
