We are the committee that keeps Skerray Village Hall running. A social space for the community to meet. We run fundraising events and workshops for the local and neighbouring communities. We are trying to make our Hall into a community Hub, a safe space for people to meet to be creative and social. Sadly the Hall's as spaces are not very modern so they need a lot of energy to run which makes it harder and harder to use, especially from young people. So we are in the process of making our building more efficient, by insulating the outside walls and hopefully installing solar panels in the future. Member from our committee are also carbon literal so we are hoping to start creating events to promote Climate change dialogue and action.
