This new community garden was established in early 2024 on site of an old garden, established on derelict land once occupied by housing. Thisd garden includes raised beds (including wheelchair accessible ones), tea shed, toolstore, herb and bee nectar/pollen plantings, wildflower meadows, bug hotel, compost heaps, hedge. Volunteers welcome. Some beds managed by local groups, others by volunteers. including local schools and nurseries, mental health groups and other community groups.

A beautiful community garden which has been built by volunteers & is now enjoyed by local residents & visitors alike. Run by Heart of Scotstoun (HoS) Ltd. Glasgow Botanic Gardens is a landmark botanical garden located in the West End of Glasgow. Just celebrating its 200th birthday in 2017, it features several glasshouses / greenhouses, the most notable of which is the iconic Kibble Palace.
Dating back to 1892, Ruchill Park provides approximately 53 Acres of recreational space for local visitors, dog walkers, joggers, & orienteering enthusiasts, as well as people who just like to visit & take in the flower beds as well as the stunning views that can be had from the park’s many vantage points. Located 3km to the Northwest of the City Centre, the park's best known feature is the panoramic view of Glasgow & surrounds, which can be obtained from the top of the hill. There is also a small play park, basketball court & outdoor gym equipment.
