Where?

To the Southeast of Glasgow City Cambuslang Park dates back to 1913, & is a wonderful park for children, dog-walkers, & explorers alike. Hilly areas, woodland, water features Kirk Burn & Cambuslang Park Basin, & open play-spaces.

*Accessibility note - accessible entrance available near play-park.

From the Visit Lanarkshire website:
"The band stand area, which is a natural amphitheatre, has been recognised for its uniqueness & the woodland area is home to some exciting & rare species. The Borgie Glen, is a steep tree lined ravine, containing a complex network of pathways. Not to mention a pond, sport pitches & woodland areas."

From the original person supplying this listing: "My granddaughter loves going to 'Forest school' here!"

Historical note - the preacher, George Whitefield, once spoke to thousands at the park without a microphone!
