The North-West Community Pantry was established by the DRC Youth Project to provide young people and their families with access to fresh and healthy food at an affordable price.
A social enterprise, registered charity, Fair Trade retailer, & educator - "trading fairly in Renfrewshire since 2002." The Rainbow Turtle's Paisley shop (staffed almost exclusively by a dedicated team of volunteers) offers a wide variety of fairly-traded food & drinks, along with an extensive range of ecological household products. Many of these are available to be refilled, thereby reducing waste packaging. They also stock a great range of fairly traded gifts & crafts from around the world, including cards, stationery, jewellery, & fashion accessories, clothing for adults & children, cookware, kitchenware, toys - &, last but not least, pocket-money items for children.
Located just a short trip to the North of Glasgow City Centre, The Courtyard Pantry & Café is a membership shop & café providing access to good quality food at a low cost for the Glasgow community.
Suresh & Sons is located in Glasgow City Centre on Argyle Street in Finnieston. From high-quality organic wholefoods at affordable prices, loose fruit & vegetables, an amazing range of in-house-made Indian foods (including amazing vegan samosas!), vegan & gluten-free/'free-from' goods, & select beauty & ecologically-sound household products, Suresh & Sons is one to visit.

Situated in Milngavie just outside of Glasgow city, Gavin's Mill is a social enterprise (supporting Gavin's Mill Community Project) offering a Fairtrade & zero-waste shop, as well as a vegetarian café with vegan & gluten-free options (for more on the café, please go to the separate listing here on Glasgow Green Map - link below!) completely run by volunteers, & a series of events (everything from live music to art-making). Outdoor covered terraces to enjoy a light lunch or delicious baking.
🌱 Healthy Living Starts Here! Bio Shop Organika is a perfect place in Tbilisi for people interested in healthy food. They sell lactose/gluten/refined sugar FREE products. With their reliable and high-quality products they gain their customers' trust. Rather, they sell nuts, dried fruit, herb tea and many other interesting products. (They also have an online store where you can have these sustainable products delivered to your doorstep.) Bio Shop Organika is a highly recommended shop for vegetarians and vegans. In Tbilisi you can find 3 organic stores of Organika.
In Lidl supermarket, you will find exchange bottle machines. For each bottle you put in, you get 0.25€ back 💰. Don’t forget to check the label to see if it is recyclable ♻️. When you have no bottles left just press the small button and you get a voucher with the value of your bottles. After you finished shopping you can hand the voucher to the cashier to get your discount.
