Inverness Tool Library is a newly registered charity SCIO number SC053665, we were formerly 'Clachworks CIC'.

ILM Highland is a social enterprise which operates throughout the Highlands. Our aim is to reduce the amount of electrical waste going to landfill. We operate an electrical appliance reuse shop in Alness and online.

Nimblefingers Project was set up as a constituted group to create opportunities for adults with additional support needs to come together in a safe environment to access and gain new skills alongside their community and peers. The Project promotes creativity and imagination by utilising small pieces of furniture donated by the public which would otherwise go to landfill.

  Lochaber Environmental Group works to preserve, conserve, and restore the environment of Lochaber for the benefit of the local communities as we transition to a low carbon economy. We help to advance the knowledge of Lochaber residents in the study of the environment and sustainability, facilitating training, and sharing advice & information. Our Objectives To help and encourage everyone in Lochaber to reduce their impact on the environment Promoting the preservation, conservation and restoration of the natural environment of Lochaber for the benefit of the community Providing information and training about the environment and about ways to live in a more sustainable manner Help and encourage everyone in Lochaber to live more sustainably. 

Greenfingers is used to assist with mental health and young adults with support needs. Used by 2 individual carers and their clients and other organisations who support adults with learning difficulties.

The LEDGE is a world-class climbing centre, café, gym and social enterprise

Velocity Café & Bicycle Workshop is a social enterprise based in Inverness. Velocity combines three worlds; a vegetarian café, bicycle workshop and range of projects to promote health, wellbeing and sustainability.

The Repair Cafe was set up in June 2021 by small team of volunteers as part of the drive by the Community Hall moving towards net zero. We hold around 10 events per year to provide a social event and to encourage a repair and reuse culture. We work with other communities within the Highland area and helped the Black Isle, Fort William and Achmore in setting up their own Repair Cafes.

Strathspey Works – Grantown Remakery provides Employment Skills Development, volunteering opportunities and support for Young People who may be having difficulty in Transition from School to Further Education and Employment, Adults with a Disability or with Mental Ill-Health, and Adults with poor ‘Wellbeing’ and lack of ‘Work Readiness’, supporting all in their journey to recovery and towards fulfilment of their personal goals.

The Spey Shed will be a community space where people can converse and create.
