Red Hen Food Bank Garden

Renamed in 2021 as The Red Hen Food Bank Garden is hosted on the same property of the RainCoast Farms Event Center. The owners Mike Gaede and Margaret Stroemer have provided the space and two green houses for Food Bank Growers to plant and harvest fresh food for the patrons of the Tri-Area Food Bank. • Growing: Spring greens, lettuce, herbs & edible flowers, assorted shade-loving vegetables
• Serving: Tri-Area Food Bank (Distribute Wednesday), Quilcene Food Bank (Distribute Wednesday) Brinnon Food Bank (Distribute Tuesday)
• Supporters: RainCoast Farm and Dick Schneider. 
• Need: Volunteers for planting, cultivation and harvesting throughout the growing season.   Tuesday mornings: Harvest during the summer production time and cultivation at the same time.
