Where?

Located in Glasgow's South side, Pollok Country Park is Glasgow's largest park (146 hectare) & is the only Country Park, in this instance the land surrounding Pollok House, within the limits of Glasgow. Its extensive woodlands & gardens provide a quiet sanctuary both for visitors & wildlife. Pollok Country Park is also home to one of Scotland's most well-known national animals – the Highland Cow. The park is rich in rural history, formerly being part of the Old Pollok Estate & ancestral home to the Maxwell Family. The park is also home to the world famous Burrell Collection.
