Where?

We as a school see climate action as a core responsibility in our community, not just in the Cairngorms but more widely in the Highlands and Scotland. We have started an eco-committee and gardening club; include climate awareness lessons in a range of subjects; and we are also a partner with the Cairngorm Connect

and Heritage Horizons: Cairngorms 2030 Initiatives.

As a school we are hoping to increase awareness of climate action and climate change, promote local initiatives and contribute to these initiatives where possible.

The reasons for joining the H&I Climate Hub include:

- wanting to support and participate in any climate related groups and activities in the Highlands

- Hoping to learn and develop our ideas through collaboration with others with similar aims and aspirations

- Help to create better links within the range of climate related groups in the region

- Explore funding opportunities linked with climate action

- Gain further support for our activities and initiatives
