Where?

Set within traditional 19th-century heather-thatched cottages, Glencoe Folk Museum holds an eclectic array of objects celebrating local heritage and telling stories of local history. We are a community hub which supports local people, while welcoming visitors from all over the world.

We aspire to be the heart of our community, inspiring local and global visitors to connect with the past by sharing our love of the unique history, culture and environment of our corner of the Highlands.

The museum was founded by Miss Barbara Fairweather MBE, Mrs Rae Grant and friends in the 1960s.
