Highland One World is an educational charity based in Inverness which exists to promote active Global Citizenship, locally, nationally and internationally.
Our vision is ‘people working together as informed and active citizens to build a more just and sustainable world’.
The centre supports schools across the Highlands and Islands to promote Global Citizenship and Learning for Sustainability through active and participatory learning.
We offer a range of professional learning courses, events and resources for teachers, and work with young people to have a voice and take informed action on social justice and sustainability issues that matter to them.
We offer a range of training and resources on climate related issues (mainly focused on climate justice) and also co-host the Mock COP at Council Chambers annually for secondary schools.
