Waterlines is a visitor centre and coffee shop at Lybster Harbour supported by Lybster Heritage Trust. It was created in 2000 from old buildings left over from the herring fishing boom. It shut during lockdowns and has recently got funding to employ a manager/curator with the aim to develop the space into a community hub, rotating exhibition space and event space as well as its permanent exhibition.
We have displays on history, geology and the natural environment, so we believe it is important to consider climate change and its impact as part of our redevelopment.
