Before there was a Green Map System or digital mapping, our founder lived in Tokyo Japan for 18 months. It was a great experience. "Maps made a positive impression on me," Wendy said. "Being able to visit all parts of this enormous city, choosing interesting routes from place to place, being able to return to a spot, and even, just to return home, all were made possible with maps. There were printed maps of different kinds all over!"

Before smartphones, there were printed maps of different types in your pocket and posted maps were on ads, invitations and so on - people made hand drawn maps just for you too!"
