Heavy heavy rain in winter, landing on compacted farm land resulting in our house flooding from under the floor, as the water table rose.

Flooding seemed to happen more and more.
Have you done anything to prepare for or address climate and weather changes at this place?
Tried to address with farmer about compacted soils, but to no avail. Flooding seemed to be increasing each year. Ended up having to leave property because it was flooding.
