This is not specifically weather related directly, rather being about environmental damage generally.
There is (still) a proposal to build a golf course on Coul Links, in spite of this proposal having been refused before on environmental grounds because of the importance of the site.
If the golf course is allowed the natural habitat and resilience to certain effects of climate change will be damaged, thus weakening the area's ability to handle extreme weather events like flooding from storms.

Have you done anything to prepare for or address climate and weather changes at this place?
Objected to the planning proposal for the golf course at every opportunity.
