Some Phytophthora pluvialis infection on Western Hemlock trees in this area. The changing climate will have an effect on how pests and diseases behave going forward.

This is a new infection but not unusual - there are a few infections elsewhere in Scotland and these are being monitored.
Have you done anything to prepare for or address climate and weather changes at this place?
Infected trees are being removed from this place and biosecurity used to reduce the spread of the disease.
