This extensive Farm to Fork program began in 2009 as a way to introduce fresh food to students through the lunch program, gardens, and cooking classes. Today they grow and buy local as much as possible.

Chimacum’s Farm to School program includes school garden programs, local sourcing and scratch cooking by School Food Services, and High School Career and Technical Education (CTE) related to food and farm economy.

ESCAPE is the East Cowal Afterschool Project serving Dunoon and surrounding areas. In 2023 the team set up a food growing area. Food is grown in raised beds and used in cooking activities as well as providing learning opportunities. Food has also been donated to the Hub Grub (Dunoon Food Bank).   

Three Peas is a multi-purpose farm serving guests at the Inn or selling eggs, chickens, herbs (nettles), Fruits, Vegetables and even wriggler garden worms.

Surprisingly enough, there is a motorcycle repair/sales shop that has a good soup/sandwich Café attached. Staff are friendly and they use recycled items for decoration, tables etc.

Food-forest, flowers, vegetables, sheep, chickens, eggs, grain and breads, Farm Bed & Breakfast White Lotus Farm & Inn is a supporter of the FEED Jeffco program.

Sunfield Farm is a hive of green goodness--it's a farm, a Waldorf School for early elementary students and it also provides a public farm stand and is the caretaker of the Sunfield Farm Food Bank garden.

In our cafeteria on the RheinAhrCampus you also have the feeling of sitting in the middle of the green - thanks to the large glass fronts with a view of nature . In good weather you can also take a seat on our large outdoor terrace - in the immediate vicinity of the park-like "Recreation Area" of the RheinAhrCampus.

Vegetarian restaurant with many vegan options. Open Monday to Friday from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm. It works with self service, take away and delivery.

Vegan restaurant in the city for over 15 years. It is open every day for lunch, from 11:30 am to 2 pm. It is possible to order luch for take away or delivery rather than enjoying the meal at the place.

🌱🥝The First Vegan Café in Georgia! Kiwi vegan is a vegan community cafe since 2015. They promote vegan food, to provide an alternative for people who chose to not eat product from animals for animals rights , environmental or health reasons. Kiwi vegan offer vegan burgers, pizza, smoothies, desserts and much more.  They also provide a free social meeting space where you or your organization who are working on important changes in the society can arrange events, educational programs, workshops, etc. That means Kiwi cafe support all positive changes in the society and not only vegans are welcome. They also give the opportunity to not buy or eat anything and just simply sit and enjoy your time with friends.

🌱 This store sells vegan products. Have you heard of super foods, but not about super plants? Not every plant is suitable for this. What nutritionists consider "super" is full of antioxidants, fiber, vitamins and minerals, as well as other foods that can help you live longer, look better, and even prevent disease. You can currently find many gluten-free products in the store. Not only can you shop at the store, but you can also sit down and have a nice ☕coffee. These coffees are organic (certified), ie grown in completely natural conditions, without the use of any chemical fertilizers or pesticides.
