SDG 4 - Quality Education

Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all  is Sustainable Development Goal 4.

"More than half of children and adolescents worldwide are not meeting minimum proficiency standards in reading and mathematics. Refocused efforts are needed to improve the quality of education. Disparities in education along the lines of gender, urban-rural location and other dimensions still run deep, and more investments in education infrastructure are required, particularly in Least Developed Countries."

Garnet Pots is a pottery-art studio in Glasgow City Centre's diverse Garnethill area. The owner says, "I have been making pots since the mid 1990s. Pottery has taken me to all sorts of places & introduced me to some really great people. Since 2007, I have been running Fireworks Studio in Glasgow. Over the years, there have been a lot of folks through for lessons & open studio. It also has been a home base for many potters starting before going on to do their own pottery adventures. Of this, I am very proud."
